FluidMasters have engaged global industrial chemists to establish their products. Through substantial lab testing they have formulated fluid management products that are a large improvement on existing competitive products in the market place.

Coolant and your engine.
The cooling system of any lorry is by far the most crucial element of the whole machine. It is a truth that in between 60 and 80% of engine and transmission failures are caused by cooling system “malfunctions”. The design of cooling systems today is as it was in Henry Ford’s time, with very little modifications. Water, a radiator and radiator pipes, fan belts, a radiator cap, and a water pump.
In engines today it is important to secure complex alloy heads and multi valve systems. An alloy head undergoes “electrolysis”, the breaking down of alloy by electrical action of the engine. It is as though the engine is one huge “battery”. An alloy head can cost anywhere from $1000.00 to $6000.00.
Scary thought but a truth, and still they go unprotected as owners take the guidance of the repairer or the garage owner who offers them the incorrect or insufficient product for their equipment’s cooling systems. Remember, the merchant typically has little knowledge of the products he is offering.
So, why is it that FluidMasters can encourage you on the appropriate products for this protection? Since, we manufacture our products to perform as needed by the manufacturer. Unfortunately though, A NUMBER OF the OEM engines cooling system protection just DO NOT WORK, or stop working before the stipulated time of protection is reached.
Diesel Engine manufacturers have increased engine running temperatures to improve engine effectiveness. This means appropriate cooling system maintenance is especially crucial. Getting too hot, overcooling, pitting, cavitation, erosion, broken heads, piston seizures, and plugged radiators are traditional cooling system failures.
Appropriate coolant selection and maintenance of the system is the owner’s choice and the right coolant is vital to effective engine life span. In fact, coolant is just as crucial as the quality of your fuel or lubricating oil.

Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser and your engine.
Only distillate fuels that satisfy needed specs will lead to optimal engine performance and durability. All equipment and machinery operators require clean safe fuel if their machinery is to provide optimal performance.
Fuel properties and quality have an enormous impact on engine operation. Contamination typically is introduced during fuel handling, that is, transfer from the refinery to its last storage destination could mean many fuel transfers and therefore more chances of contamination.
Fuel quality can considerably affect the performance and maintenance of any diesel or fuel engine. Water can cause excessive sludge and also cause fuel pump damage in those fuel systems which use fuel oil to lube the pump.
Salt water is the greatest single source of fouling deposits and corrosion, especially in heat locations of marine engines. Salt water can cause fuel injector and piston ring groove deposits and wear in fuel system plunger and barrel assemblies.
Gen XI removes water from fuel, fuel tanks, fuel lines and retards fungal development. The existence of water from condensation, seal leakage, etc can speed up the deterioration of the fuel, especially if high sulphur levels exist. In diesel, water allows microbe development (eg: Hormoconis resinae and Cladisporium resinae). These “diesel bugs” feed upon the fuel and propagate in the water and this triggers fuel deterioration and filter/injector clogs.
Gen XI actually rids the system of water by encapsulating the water which in turn is focused into tiny microscopic droplets through the unique chemicals in Gen XI. These droplets are then held in suspension within the fuel, carried through the engines filter system and fuel pump where it is exhausted to the atmosphere as oxygen and hydrogen gasses. Too, any sulphur products are also encapsulated thus preventing sulphurous acid damage to engine component parts. By neutralising the sulphur content of fuel, Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will get rid of fuel problems and attain better burn, amount to combustion, less emissions and higher performance.
The product also consists of cleaning agent dispersant aspects to not only clean but entirely disperse with a plan of fluid suspension aspects.
Fuel including Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will remain high quality, appropriate viscosity, sulphur controlled and safe storage for extended periods. FluidMasters have facilities such as banks and Health centers with distillate in their emergency situation generators that have been in these units for over 20 years. This also gives the operator a possibility to store fuel for extended periods and therefore “hedge” versus rising fuel costs. For long storage of fuel, we recommend that the Gen XI product be used at a mix rate of 30% more than recommended for regular use.
Pristine fuel is vital for the wellness of your machinery. Western Australian-made Microlube fuel filters offer 100% effectiveness at 1-micron score. That’s as near ideal as you are going to get. The filters eliminate contaminants as small as one micron, using polyester needle-felt filter socks. Polyester needle felt is the most common product used for these bags and is available in micron scores of 1, 5, 100 and 150.
Microlube Technical Specifications.
Filtered contaminants are included in the filter sock and eliminate the opportunity of contamination, common with cartridge-type filters, (according to graphic below) which leave contaminants in the filter real estate.
How to choose a Microlube filter.
1. Select the unit size based on the circulation rate adjusted for the viscosity of the fluid to be filtered.
2. Select the micron score of the bag to be fitted.
3. Select Port Position.
4. Select the design # – eg filter 100L/min of diesel down to 1 micron with standard port, select design MFH 100.
FluidMasters do not have specific products for a machines air system, as there are no fluids involved, but it is vital to keep in mind that: Diesel and fuel engines digest actually hundreds of square meters of air to every litre of fuel burnt.
