FluidMasters have engaged international commercial chemists to develop their products. Through substantial lab screening they have created fluid management products that are a vast improvement on existing competitive products in the market place.
In February 1988 these products were introduced to farmers and after achieving outstanding results the company broadened its offerings to other industry groups which include marine and transport. As time has passed and technology improved, ongoing research has seen these products improved and improved to where they are thought about by the company to be of the greatest performance that current science has the ability to produce.
There are four areas to be cared for and managed. All of these areas need to be addressed as recommended in all maker’s equipment handbooks/manuals.
Products and Services.
Oil- Choosing the best viscocity.
The most crucial element of using the best oil for your equipment is to select the appropriate oil viscosity. The directions for choosing the best oil for your equipment and equipment are detailed in your maker’s handbook/manual. If this is not offered then use the Specification Charts below to select the appropriate oil viscosity:.
American Petroleum Institute (API) Specs.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Charts.
If in doubt then please contact FluidMasters on 1300 302 949 and we will help you to select the best oil for your equipment.
Our Oil System maintenance products include:.

CONOCO Oils and Lubricants.
The very best oils and lubricants with the best filtration systems means the best possible security for your equipment.
Coolant and your engine.
The cooling system of any car is by far the most crucial component of the whole machine. It is a truth that in between 60 and 80% of engine and transmission failures are triggered by cooling system “breakdowns”. This has been an enormous cost to equipment owners and $1.5 billion dollars every year is credited to this failure throughout Australia.
This is an enormous amount of cash considering the reality that it could be minimized drastically (most likely by 75%) by the installation of the appropriate cooling system products.
FluidMasters ongoing dedication is to offer the best cooling system products that can be produced. The products FluidMasters market were established by the School of Chemical Engineering at the Western Australian Institute of Technology (Curtin University) in the early 1980’s by Dr Richie and his team established a protectorate as well as a flushing product.
FluidMasters have been marketing these products to their client base given that 1982 and because time the two most common and most destructive issues challenging the operator as far as the cooling system is concerned are “Cavitation Disintegration” (Pit holes that drill through the cylinder liners) and “Electrolysis” (the damage of alloys, i.e. cylinder heads etc). These two significant issues have ended up being a distant memory for our clients with not one instance being recorded in over 26 years.
The design of cooling systems today is as it was in Henry Ford’s time, with really little modifications. Water, a radiator and radiator hose pipes, fan belts, a radiator cap, and a water pump.
In engines today it is necessary to protect complicated alloy heads and multi valve systems. An alloy head undergoes “electrolysis”, the disintegrating of alloy by electrical action of the engine. It is as though the engine is one huge “battery”. An alloy head can cost anywhere from $1000.00 to $6000.00.
Scary idea but a reality, and still they go unguarded as owners take the suggestions of the repairer or the garage owner who offers them the incorrect or insufficient product for their equipment’s cooling systems. Keep in mind, the merchant normally has little understanding of the products he is offering.
So, why is it that FluidMasters can encourage you on the appropriate products for this security? Since, we produce our products to perform as required by the maker. Sadly though, A LOT OF the OEM engines cooling system security just DO NOT WORK, or fail before the stated time of security is reached.
Diesel Engine manufacturers have increased engine running temperatures to improve engine effectiveness. This means correct cooling system maintenance is especially crucial. Overheating, overcooling, pitting, cavitation, disintegration, split heads, piston seizures, and plugged radiators are traditional cooling system failures.
Proper coolant selection and maintenance of the system is the owner’s choice and the best coolant is crucial to successful engine life span. In fact, coolant is just as crucial as the quality of your fuel or lubricating oil.
FluidMasters provides cooling system preventative maintenance products and services to assist you prevent the down-time & costly results of coolant-related engine/ transmission failures.
Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser and your engine.
Only distillate fuels that meet required specs will lead to optimum engine performance and sturdiness. All equipment and equipment operators need clean safe fuel if their equipment is to offer optimal performance.
Fuel homes and quality have an enormous result on engine operation. Contamination normally is introduced during fuel handling, that is, transfer from the refinery to its last storage destination might mean many fuel transfers and for that reason more chances of contamination.
Fuel quality can considerably impact the performance and maintenance of any diesel or petrol engine. Water can cause excessive sludge and also cause fuel pump damage in those fuel systems which use fuel oil to oil the pump.
Seawater is the greatest single source of fouling deposits and corrosion, especially in heat areas of marine engines. Seawater can cause fuel injector and piston ring groove deposits and wear in fuel system plunger and barrel assemblies.
Gen XI removes water from fuel, fuel tanks, fuel lines and slows down fungal growth. The existence of water from condensation, seal leak, etc can accelerate the deterioration of the fuel, especially if high sulphur levels exist. In diesel, water allows microorganism growth (eg: Hormoconis resinae and Cladisporium resinae). These “diesel bugs” eat the fuel and propagate in the water and this causes fuel deterioration and filter/injector blockages.
Gen XI in fact rids the system of water by encapsulating the water which in turn is concentrated into small microscopic beads through the special chemicals in Gen XI. These beads are then held in suspension within the fuel, finished the engines filter system and fuel pump where it is tired to the environment as oxygen and hydrogen gasses. Too, any sulphur products are also encapsulated hence preventing sulphurous acid damage to engine part. By neutralising the sulphur content of fuel, Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will conquer fuel issues and achieve much better burn, amount to combustion, less emissions and higher performance.
The product also includes detergent dispersant elements to not only clean but entirely distribute with a plan of fluid suspension elements.
Fuel including Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will remain high quality, appropriate viscosity, sulphur controlled and safe storage for extended periods. FluidMasters have facilities such as banks and Hospitals with distillate in their emergency situation generators that have been in these units for over 20 years. This also provides the operator a chance to store fuel for extended periods and for that reason “hedge” versus increasing fuel costs. For long storage of fuel, we recommend that the Gen XI product be utilized at a mix rate of 30% more than recommended for regular use.
Beautiful fuel is vital for the well-being of your equipment. Western Australian-made Microlube fuel filters offer 100% effectiveness at 1-micron rating. That’s as near ideal as you are going to get. Bowser or fuel-tank fitting is regular with flow rates of 100 or 150 litres per minute being basic. Consisting of a washable filter, they are extremely efficient and economical.
Microlube Filters (dispersed by FluidMasters) are a series of economical, low-micron filters for the optimum removal of suspended particles and general contaminates in commercial fluids and fuel. When utilized as a primary filter on a diesel installation it ensures optimum fuel condition and frequently gets rid of costly secondary filter obstruction.
Microlube’s innovative fuel filtration systems are discovering increasing approval among mining and earthmoving contractors, transport & oilfield operators, farmers and marine equipment owners.
Prevent damage to fuel pumps and injectors from small particles.
Microlube has constructed a series of quality filter-systems which are created to eliminate fungal debris, suspended particles, drop-out in diesel fuels and other particles such as sand, dust, sludge and excess water. The filters eliminate contaminants as small as one micron, using polyester needle-felt filter socks. Polyester needle felt is the most common product utilized for these bags and is offered in micron ratings of 1, 5, 100 and 150.
Microlube Technical Specifications.
Filtered contaminants are consisted of in the filter sock and eliminate the opportunity of contamination, common with cartridge-type filters, (based on graphic below) which leave contaminants in the filter real estate.
How to select a Microlube filter.
1. Select the unit size based upon the flow rate adjusted for the viscosity of the fluid to be filtered.
2. Select the micron rating of the bag to be fitted.
3. Select Port Position.
4. Select the design # – eg filter 100L/min of diesel down to 1 micron with basic port, choose design MFH 100.
FluidMasters do not have particular products for a machines air system, as there are no fluids involved, but it is vital to note that: Diesel and petrol engines absorb literally numerous square meters of air to every litre of fuel burnt.
Clean air filters lead to a more effectively running engine, leading to less influence on the environment. Lower costs are also the result of an efficient air system, not to mention less downtime and loss of revenues.
